Questions:
Business Process
Management refers to the
ongoing efforts of
companies to optimize
their business
processes, and,
especially, to exert
managerial control over
both the redesign of the
process and the ongoing
monitoring and
continuous improvement
of those processes.
A well-implemented
Business Process
Management initiative
leads to greater
business agility, faster
productivity and
improved customer
interactions for all
stakeholders.
SOA is focused on a
business/IT alignment. A
well-implemented Service
Oriented Architecture
leads to streamlined
technology portfolios,
improved resource
sharing, better-defined
business capabilities,
and ease of capability
introduction or change.
The combined use of
Service Oriented
Architecture and
Business Process
Management results in an
optimized business
environment that is
change-friendly, and
poised for business
innovation.
The emphasis should not
be on BPM or SOA
technologies, as such,
but on business problems
solved and results
achieved. Answer the
questions as if you were
trying to convince your
CEO of the value BPM and
SOA brought to your
organization.
NOTE:
Questions must
be answered by a Project
Team Member. (BPM & SOA
provider marketing case
studies will not be
accepted)

Studies submitted become
