Guidance: What business group needed help that the BPM/SOA project supplied, and what particular areas of the business were impacted? Examples: Managing relationship (customer, partner, employee), Cost containment, Business process innovation, business process optimization, product innovation, new segment/markets/channels, merger and acquisitions, improved service delivery.

Guidance: What were the business results seen, and where they tangible (savings/new revenue) or intangible (customer satisfaction)? 4. How was the Project team organized and what types of business staff were on the team? How was cross-organization collaboration (Business/Technical) achieved? Was a Center of Excellence or Competency Center created?

Guidance: A key component of BPM and SOA success is business and IT collaboration. How did your project accomplish this?

5. What methodologies did the project team employ? What methodologies and techniques continue to be used to measure, monitor and manage the resulting business changes?

Guidance: Did your team adopt a business or software engineering/delivery method such as Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, or Model Driven Architecture (MDA)? How are you using metrics/KPIs to measure, monitor and continuously improve the delivered business processes and capabilities?
